We took on the carpentry work on another of Fountain Constructions projects.

This time a large wrap around extension that more than doubled the existing house.

The first job was a hand cut vaulted roof with dormer windows front and rear and skylights. This roof had to merge into the existing truss roof ready to be completely re- tiled . Not an easy task in places but the end result was worth the occasional head scratching.

Once covered in we started the big job of the 1st fix , creating new studwork walls, mezzanine dressing areas, curved feature walls and forming the dormer cinema room.

We started the second fix phase of this project with doors , skirtings and architraves throughout the entire build.

The stairs were fitted as part of the second fix too with templates made and glass cut and installed on two of the staircases .

Finally we fitted the large kitchen with large island , utilities , boot room and two larder rooms . We worked alongside the granite company in order to template for beautiful black work tops.

We also carried out the hardwood cladding to the front elevations of the build and formed the balcony with composite decking on the rear.

This was a very enjoyable, challenging project that took the expertise and Knowledge of the whole team to bring to completion.
